Grigorenko + Pysyk is ALL I'd give up
If the are trading Ryan,
It's gotta be to rebuild... So they won't want Roy anyways, and I'd think stafford wouldn't be the guy either
Ryan is "good"
He's not a "superstar"
Would I like him here? YES!!!
But there's no way in hell I'm giving up all those assets to get him...
That's just WaY too much IMO - jdfitz77
...is going NOWHERE, least of all for Bobby Ryan. Grigs is going to be a stud.

The C is intended for your best locker room leader type. I like Pominville, but if he was a real captain he would give the C up to Doan. - Pierceme69
I like Doan, a lot. I would probably buy his jersey if we signed him, even if it was a 1 year deal. He's a leader and a respected veteran player. But he's accomplished nothing. He has 1 more all star game than Pominville. He's won 2 good ol' boy awards.
I think Doan would fit on just about any team in the NHL. I think he would like to stay close to Phoenix if he does decide to leave. I think the East Coast teams come in play if Doan wants to take a shot at the cup on a 1 year deal and then return to Phoenix for the end of his career. Even in that case, I cant help think that Pitt would be the most desireable location.

Also we finally got our hands on a prospect who could turn into an elite 1st line center. I would prefer we didnt trade him away 5 days after acquiring him. - Rally_Shots
your're right we keep him 4 years then trade....if you know who im talking about it worked in the past.
Regehr should have an A IMO. I think everyone on the D looks up to him. Plus he had the A forever in Calgary. He and Doan define veteran leadership. - puttinonthefoil
