I can't say which one I'd rather have because I haven't seen Pysyk play. I don't want them getting rid of either of them. Move Sekera. Or Weber. Regehr and Leopold only have 1 year left on their deals. I'd even be ok with them moving Brennan. He might be a decent defenseman, but I wasn't overly impressed or anything.

Bringing in a true leader like Doan would necessitate taking the C away from Pominville which in turn would necessitate trading Pominville.

Considering Pominville had a nice year last season, it might be a good time to trade him.

you factor in that Pomminville is one of the lesser of problems on this team.. but at the same time could bring in quite the return.. remember that Roy and Sekera is not going to get you a top line player

Roy and Gerbe for Morrow. I really do think we will have a good shot to land Parise. I have no interest in Ryan with the price that it's going to cost. The only guys I can see being traded are Roy, Sekera, Brennan, Gerbe, Leo, Adam and picks (Que the "noone wants these players"). Some UFA's I'd like to take a shot at are Tori Mitchell and David Jones.

The C is intended for your best locker room leader type. I like Pominville, but if he was a real captain he would give the C up to Doan.

I'm not saying that he would be that way. I was simply saying if that's the attitude someone has, I wouldn't be very happy about it or receptive to that person.
