They say that alot of Center prospects play their first year as a winger just to get a feel for the game... I have heard that Crosby, Malkin, and Stamkos have all done it recently..

Do we really think Grigorenko does this too?? Maybe take half as many draws as usual or something?

slow development path, like they usually do...sabres have a log-jam on d as-is and they'll be sorting out the center spot for another year or two

about the same path as a normal prospect... play out the CHL time go to the AHL for a season or two then get called up when there is room.. that would be my guess.

Crosby and Malkin both played Center their first years. We finally drafted a legit uber talented C prospect. Put him at C and let him go.

nah...i don't think they do it that way with grigs and girgs...

look at their center depth right now...they'll have every opportunity at center before they'll be moved to the wing...

as for the three you mentioned stamkos had an inferior coach, crosby never played wing (to my knowledge) and malkin (to my knowledge) only played wing when necessary
