ryan is going to get you 30 goals and 60 points a year in a full season
staff is going to get you at least 50 points in a full season

ryan is an upgrade to staff and I am all for moving a pick and an ok prospect plus staff for the upgrade, but no way I overpay and hamper what we have coming up.

I see him moving to left wing on the first line in rochester and being a call up when vanek or leino gets dinged up

it would not surprise me if he comes out a blazing in training camp and pushes gerbe for that last lw slot

i highly doubt they would move him... but i think to say he is untouchable is a bit near sighted.. do they want to win now or in 3 years when he will be able to really contribute.. that has to be considered.. when he is becomeing "the man" if he ever does, Miller will be on the down side and we will have enroth and lurch in goal..

Ryan>Vanek... cheaper.. younger.. better 2 way game.. not injury prone..

just because girgenous said he was going to play in vermont, does not mean he has to

once he signs a contract, he will have options

he can't play in Rochester (at least i dont think).. if he puts in a decent camp he may get his 9 game tryout then get sent back to the QMJHL (i think that is where he played last year)

Girgensons is supposed to go back to college, yes. But in his interviews it sounds like he isn't counting out the NHL.

Grigorenko has a shot at a 10 game tryout (like Myers had,) and I think he would go back to Quebec instead of Rochester.
