Me too. I don't know if people over value him, but to get a guy like Ryan you have to give up assets. No problem with this at all.

Funny thing about Paranteau is that there are probably at least a dozen or so AHL guys with the same talent or better that just didn't catch a break playing with Tavares. I'd be weary of paying him big money.

No way around the fact that he had a nice year. You had better play him with a goal scoring center like Tavares then.

For one year they did, Parise would be a yearly endeavor. Only one team in the league it makes sense to pay Parise in the 8-9M/yr range and that is Minnesota.

I know what he meant, but I dont think hes going to get that from anyone. teams dont have that kind of cash to pony up IMO

I think every team with a chance at him would frontload the hell out of it and leave them with only a 7-8 mil cap hit
