Am I the only one who thinks Dallas would have just kept Ribiero if they wanted a center like Roy? Why get rid of Ribiero and then trade a good asset in Ott to then get Roy who is very similar to Ribiero? I just don't see the logic there.
- Gunner Staal

I agree, but Roy is better then Ribeiro IMO. Maybe they view him as a upgrade?

i know but grigs and ennis should not be included. id try harder to get them to accept roy and another prospect and a 1st. because otherwise we are gutting our best line for 1 player when thoes three players will produce more goals combined then bobby ryan will. just saying.
- LizzyJo

Grigs won't, Ennis should be.

I wouldn't be looking to trade Grigs but Ennis, absolutely. I don't think he's in our long term plans.

In 2 years it will be

He can have the key, we just need to change the locks

I fail to see your point, because I'm not a GM I'm not capable of making logical, correct points on NHL rosters?

I've said this before I think the Sabres have there work cut out for them to get any of Ryan, Parise or Doan. You can throw Nash in there as well but, I don't think they have an interest in him.

Vanek would have to go, to much coin for Nash 7.8 mill a yr. I would forget Nash let the Leafs fight for him.

I forgot who it was but a writer posted on spectors site that Parise might command 9-10 mill a yr. If that's true let some other team be on the hook for that. Contracts like that will kill the league.

I'll pass. Focus on Ryan. Ennis Brennan sekera and a first. Roy to Dallas for Ott.

I mentioned this earlier......

Ennis, Sekra + for Bobby Ryan

Roy for Ott.

Now we have to find a center and we could.

If Darcy can get him for little, don't use your head to rage with.
