I think their only proven centres are Ott and Vernon Fiddler (if you can call him proven). If that's the case they need someone.

I'd still trade him for Ryan, no question. Darcy has a love fest with to many players and it's going to keep costing us any chances.

I understand Ennis may not be too much more seasoned a center then Grigs, but some center is better then no center at all. Plus i dont feel weakening your biggest weakness further is worth it, even for Ryan

I just think they would want to get younger. I know Roy's cap hit is low but, who really out there wants to pay him 5.5 mil this year?

Go read his posts from the last 2 days, he states the trades that he claims he predicted before Bob McKenzie.

I find him interesting, but I have no idea if he has any legit to his rumors. He seems lame by keeping to report Grigs is part of the Ryan trade talk. There is as much chance of that NOT happening as death and taxes.

Now, the Roy for Ott talk? I could believe that. I could also believe that Ennis could be in the trade for Ryan. Deal Ennis ++ for Ryan, strengthen via size and ability the wingers, build size in the centers with Grigs and Ott. Grig replaces Ennis' skills.

IMO if Darcy wants players even though he's checking every ave. he might want to move before another team does. The Flyers, Leafs and Rangers will always do something stupid.

i know but grigs and ennis should not be included. id try harder to get them to accept roy and another prospect and a 1st. because otherwise we are gutting our best line for 1 player when thoes three players will produce more goals combined then bobby ryan will. just saying.
