he's briere size and briere is a special player. imo ennis is a direct briere replacement. if ryan could be got i would consider it though.

IMO Ennis,Stafford and Grigorenko is WAY TOO MUCH for Ryan. Grigorenko isn't going anywhere.

If I'm not mistaken Ryan plays the majority of his time with Perry and Getzlaf and tops out at 35 goals and barely 70 points over the last 4 years. Not sure I gut our young guys for that, Vanek straight up I think I would do.

A bit off topic but do people really want Grigorenko as our 3rd line centre. IMO if that happens we are in trouble again this year.

I don't hate Darcy but sometimes ya gotta take a chance on a deal and roll the dice and hope it works out he's too conservative IMO. but yes when he does make deals they usually are good ones.

Because many rookie centers (Crosby, Malkin, Staal, Seguin to name a few) all played their 1st seasons primarily on the wing while they adjusted to the speed and the responsibility of playing C in the NHL
