It's not like he wasn't traded from the Hawks the year they won the cup, so obviously you know where the (frank)ing mistake was made. Now piss off.

Cory Schneider and Manny Mahlotra got picked to represent the Canucks on the 31-member nhlpa bargaining committee. So this might be a sign CS is going to be reuping here soon.

I recall reading some frustration regarding the play of one of those two, but I forget which one...

I didn't realize that Kessel makes 5.4 m (cap hit) per. Make 6m in actual salary last year. He's an UFA after 13-14. He has a limited NTC/NMC in 2013-14. Now that's a good contract. Looking forward to watching ole Burkie work that out.

When his contract is up Kessel is going to run faster than my a$$ does after a Mexician holiday.

I'm not saying that he's leaving or that he will ask for too much. I have no idea what he's worth. What is interesting is that he doesn't seem prepared to settle quickly which would help Gillis get a better return on "that other goalie". He is simply playing a bit of hardball and making Gillis get rid of Bobbie before getting a deal done.

I like to see people do things intelligently. Weird concept I know, dude.
