I can remember quite a few times throughout the year where I would say "man I wish this team could play some better, more cohesive D." But never "man I wish this team could score more goals". Don't get all the hype over getting Ryan Nash or Parise. How about a Gaustad, McClement, Moen type?

Also just a poll question, does Wellwood have the ability to move into the top 9 going forward?

To be as good anyone. There isn't a team in the League that has more offense from the Forwards, then the Flyers do. Even more so if they make another move.

How the Flyers play defensively, and how good the goaltending is, is likely to be a far bigger factor in how far the Flyers can go, then offense is.

You gotta do it again. Simple as that. Look over the numbers, compare our team to other teams, you gotta do it again. Simple as that. We downgraded and now we have to do it again with the disadvantages that we didn't have last season.

And they just as easily could gain 20+ goals just from an improvement from Briere and Schenn.

Every other team has to do it again also. Or does that not apply to the players on other teams? We downgraded in one area. We upgraded in another.

Maybe not right away, but I think there is a chance of that down the road.

Other teams don't have the same question marks with an abundance of young players only going into their second season.

So no Jagr this year?

Since when does Holmgren sit on salary cap cash? Paul's like a crackhead with cap dollars. Ain't a pipe too big to smoke it all gone.

Every team that does what the Flyers did, are there at some point. Maybe were wrong. Maybe the Flyers young players aren't good players. And they're all going to bomb out and regress next Season.

Even if he is unsuccessful. The Flyers have a dam good team as the roster currently sits.

he needs to trade everyone without a NTC or NMC for Bobby Ryan and sign Parise
Edit a first round pick needs to be added for Ryan as well.

There are 16 players on the roster that are 30 or younger. The future is bright.

Yea they're too young we need guys in their mid 20's to mid 30's that are guaranteed to score 30 goals or fight or hit, cause every cup team is made up strictly of those guys.....
