So would I. But I wouldn't trade Voracek and Meszaros to do it.

Neither would I. But I would trade Bourdon, Voracek and a pick for Ryan.

Maybe a 3rd round pick, and I would be on board.

I'd love to deal for Ryan. But at the right price. It's hot out and I would sure like a bottle of water. But I'm not paying $5 for it.

You could end up with dehydration be careful.

And if Ryan insists on being traded it should lower his trade value, not increase it.

Anaheim can smooth things over with Ryan if they really have to. Take him in and talk to him behind closed doors. I dont understand why Anaheim made it public that they were shopping him again.

I thought it was posted on this site by Ek as well stating that Bobby Ryan was back on the trading block?

All of a sudden we are using shooting %s as a reason to put someone on a line with Giroux? You're reaching there, IMO.

And I haven't heard of many other choices other than Ryan, as if he's the only goal scorer available in the NHL.

Yes I am..... S% is an indicator of how many of the players shots go in the net, you know making shots count....

They definately need to add a 4th line center for faceoffs and special teams. I think they should go after Doan. I'm not willing to meet his 4 year demand but lets see what he wants.

2yrs would be great... But, I'd split the difference and go with a 3yrs contract. The guy is a Iron-man... The guy only miss a few game a season for the past several years.

After reading Garth's writeup, and watching the videos... I'd take him in a heartbeat. Reunite him with Briere. And, we don't have to trade anyone.

Ek posting it, or any other media outlet stating that Ryan is on the block, is hardly the same as Anaheim putting it out publicly that they are shopping Ryan.

A bombshell report released by the local media in Anaheim regarding talented forward Bobby Ryan and his frustration with the Anaheim Ducks organization certainly created some additional drama on Day One of the 2012 NHL Draft.

While much attention was originally bestowed on the availability of premier F Rick Nash of the Columbus Blue Jackets, eyes quickly turned to the west coast after Bobby Ryan sat down with local media and unleashed a torrent of fury in the direction of the Anaheim Ducks front office:

"Anaheim to me has been a team over the past year that really has shown me nothing to prove that they want me here, unfortunately," he told the New Jersey Courier-Post. "Obviously, it's not the ideal situation. When you get drafted, you want to win championships with that team and every time they look to add a piece to the puzzle, I'm the piece going the other way."

GM Bob Murray made it clear that he'd talk to Bobby Ryan about his distress with the current situation, but Murray did not go as far as dismissing the twenty-five year old's potential spot on the trading block.

And, in light of recent moves -- notably, the trade of D Lubomir Visnovsky to New York -- one has to wonder if this is all setting up for a major overhaul in Anaheim.

Bobby Ryan won't be had at a cheap price, though -- inquirers should understand that first-line wingers don't become readily available often, and Ryan is fresh-off his fourth-consecutive thirty-goal season out west.
