I own an espresso machine and for the last 12 years, I never had a Tim Horton's coffee.

And I don't miss it one bit.

1. Kurig machine - Kcups....cost less than 1$/coffee and the machine pays for itself in less than a month(depending on how much you drink of course)

2. Coffee Culture
3. Red Roaster
4. StarBucks
5. That one coffee machine in the lunchroom thats 30 years old
6. Instant Coffee from the DollarStore
7. Tim Hortons

- noename09

The Kurig machine scares the poop out of me. I went over to my Dads place and he was like 'What are you supposed to do with it?', he received it as a late Christmas gift. I honestly had/have no idea how to work the thing.

Never heard of any of those places aside from the coffee machine in the lunchroom and Starbucks. Starbucks is for the rich though.

oh its horrid.. and i still get it every morning cause none of the good shops are even open when i go to work

at least i drink it black.. so i dont have to go through them routinely f'n up my order

there's one across from my office in Old Montreal. i dont mind their coffee as long as there's barely any milk in it. anyway they have 2 women (i use the term loosely) working there who are so fat that they can do nothing but work the cash. on occasion, one of them will work the sandwich counter. one morning last week im waiting for my coffee and i see one of the fat ones making a breakfast sandwich. she's so large and off balance that when she goes to scrape some butter out of the jar, she has to lean her entire (bare) arm on the sandwich board. maybe i'm a snob, but it was appalling.

honestly my friend...invest in the kurig, strongly recommend it. Makes your coffee in 1 minute, absolutely no clean up - just pop in kcup and press brew. They have tons of good choices and some are real good coffee

will also save you a good chunck of change in a month!

...from the sounds of it you have a small office, you can buy one as an office and split the cost. Free coffee all day that tastes great

yeah i could always fire it up while I am in the shower and have it waiting for me

Because most of us here are at work drinking good coffee and regretting the career path we chose but are using coffee as a scapegoat to let our passive aggressive tension vent.

I really do not mind Tims. I've never heard so much hate on Tims in my life. The food sucks though. Bagels are always hit and miss.

I'm a 'monkey see, monkey do'. I have no idea dude, but the manual was insanely confusing. I felt like I brought home a bed set from Ikea and it was all in Swedish. Threw it out the same day, never looked back.

*honestly* there is barely any "firing" up to do ....if you program it to turn on at say 6am every morning its even faster, but if you get up and turn it on yourself, the coffee if done in less than 2 minutes (takes about 1 minute for element to heat up - 1 minute to brew)

if you do look into tho....make sure to get the bigger one. Most people I know have a smaller one than I do. Mine cost about 40 bucks mroe I think but has different options and can make larger cups

Tim Horton's is quite possibly serving the worst coffee ever.

Burke has to make the trade for Luongo.

Look at the division:

Miller
Rask
Ottawa had solid goaltending with Anderson/Bishop combo last season
Price

Makes more sense to me now that Burke has to do it, just don't overpay and leave Mason Raymond out of it.
