Why? Because he didn't trade a top pairing defenseman and a decent 3rd line centre for a broken down 34 year old whose numbers have been steadily declining and a guy whose value was a 5-6 dman?

He may get his chance in that slot for us maayyyybe, but he's more of a top notch 3rd line center ilk. Nashville needs scoring asap. Connolly replaces Wilson (plus puts up more points) Kadri, again, replaces Wilson (in position and youth), and MacArthur gives them more additional scoring on the wing. We're actually trading an entire line that could generate a combined 160+ points in a season for 1 good prospect and a pick. I actually thought it was over payment.

I think Holzer did, but I'm not certain. Leafman said he did some digging, but I have yet to see anything definitive. Really can't see that guy not getting qualified. No way you let an NHL ready prospect walk for nothing.
