What do you guys think of peter meuller?
- maverickJ

I think he may end up being a steal, actually. If guys like Crosby, Bergeron, Lombardi can come back after "career-ending" concussions, there's no reason he can't. Kid had 54 points in his rookie season, former 8th overall.

I'd love us to take a flyer at him for a 1 year deal, but we have baggage to clear out of our own: hell, a bottom feeding team like ours doesn't even have room for our own prospects who're NHL ready, let alone another project, so likely we'll pass.

Eric Lindros has better numbers and was more dominant...teams feared playing againt him ...Sundin was a great player but wasn't stellar...plus the Big E has some hardware that actually matters
- keatondixon

Yaaaaa, I'd go with 1300 pts being stellar. I do agree Big E deserves a plaque though too.

I think it has a little more to do with what he accomplished in such short time. And the way he did it.

He was the most explosive, Exciting player in the world in his day. And paved the way for many people after him to become true speedster, snipers, With sick mitts.

- TheCouv

Oh yeah I think he was deservedly inducted into the hall of fame but I don't think he deserved to get in ahead of Sundin like somebody suggested.

I'm not sure he refers to himself at all......like the rest of the hockey world.

PS. I saying his name, but with an angry German accent. Try it, it's addictive....really.

That is a very good point, we already have enough of garbage on our team.

To make sure you realize the superiority of the millionaire that played for his team over the millionaire that played for your team.

You're not even making sense now. How is "great" not "stellar"?

Sundin was beyond stellar. Imagine how much better he could have been if the team around him was better?

My point exactly.
He had great seasons regardless of whether or not he was playing with a weak squad. Saying that because the Leafs had a few decent years with him back in the day.

Dont worry I am sure the Sedin Sisters will get in there one day too you little female dog

You compare Trever Linden to Mats go get your head checked or quit going to Hastings for a fix

If he played in your crappy city for all those years you would be raving about what a great player he was

Now put your head down and crawl back to your own boards

- NucksSuckMensD

You best take it easy with BJ he's a tender kitten. I pissed him off last year and he sent me this vomit inducing whiny PM about how he could have me banned but he won't and something about sand and irritation, and i don't know i didn't read most of it anyway.

Someone tried to bash him with these points

1) He didn't help us by scoring too many points and goals, so we didnt get a low draft pick

2) He didn't care because as soon as the season ended he would get on a plane and go to the World Championships

3) He didnt want to leave Toronto

Every fanbase has extremely uneducated idiots. I care not to bicker with them.

I prefer the whole "Respectfully disagree" or "Not female dog at all" Philosiphy.

Could you imagine the draft picks, prospects the Leafs could have got if Sundin would have agreed to be traded.

Very selfish person!!!

Very true, but at the same time, if he did all the same things as captain of the Sabres, he's not a first ballot HOFer.
