I would. I have a feeling the Pens are going to get him. Perhaps Parise will consider T.O. If Luongo gets traded there. But without an established goaltender, I doubt he wants anything to do with the Leafs. IMHO.

I wouldn't bet on it, but it wouldn't totally blow my mind away. He knows Burke already, that's the only connection I see, but it's there. You have guys like Liles, who got traded here, then signed an extension because he said I love it here, and I would go through a wall for Burke. Again, not saying I find it likely, I just don't think it's beyond all comprehension.

I wonder if they Flyers take a run, losing JVR and Jagr, they're gonna need a rough and tumble power fwd with experience.

Oh I have no doubt that Burke's popular, but I just can't see him coming here. We're crowded on the wing and have a lot of baggage in our top 9 that needs to be dealt with first. Really wish we would've moved Mac for a 1st round pick at the deadline now.

He's in the top 30 all-time in goals and points as well, and as I recall one of three guys all-time who has 17 20 goal seasons, it's the Leaf chirpers who are reaching on this one, not the Hall

Like I've been saying all day, Bure's PPG numbers are ridiculously inflated.

Take any marginal HOFer, look at only their first 12 seasons (excluding their later declining years), and you get numbers that look every bit as good as Bure's, if not better.

I can't believe Ken Campbell is saying Sundin shouldn't even be in the HOF at all...I can see splitting hairs between Sundin and Shanahan, but c'mon, PPG for 16 years on teams that he was often carrying? It's funny how so many people are saying he only got in because he was a Leaf...looking at the numbers and having watched his entire career I think people are only saying he shouldn't have got in because he was a Leaf.

The fact that Sergei Berezin had a 40+ goal season and Jonas Hoglund had an NHL career at all should get Sundin in
