Let's see what the Habs are missing

Cole-DD-Pacs
Gionta-Plek-?
Bourque-Eller-Leblanc
?-White-Geoffrion

2 forwards plus a 13th forward...assuming Gomez is gone, Moen, Staubitz go else where and Gallagher is in Hamilton

Markov-PK
Gorges-Kaberle
Diaz-Weber

They need 2 more D's.

- Symba007

I would definitely start Geoffrion to Hamilton, wouldn't play White at centre either. Gaustad would be a good option and apparently they're trying to re-sign Moen. I get the impression that we're going to sign Latendresse...

A guy like Allen to provide grit and PKing on D would be nice, seeing Kaberle, Diaz AND Weber there hurts me on the inside, they're too redundant.

Offer sheet Kulemin for 2nd line winger and Frattin for 4th Line winger just to piss off Burke. Also Franson and Mikus on D.

we'll have to be patient with the D....Habs are still a year or 2 away from seeing the 4 rookies possibly moving up.

Latendresse
Prust
Gaustad
Allen

Bergevin will probably trade for help

andrew brunette would be great in there somewhere, .. i like Staubitz sa teh 13th F, or find eric neilson, i miss seeing that guy at training camps. or trevor gillies i think is around too.

on D.. is scott hannan around? he would be good, and he was only 1 million last year.

I like Brunette and Hannan but they are really (frank)ing slow, I'd rather not...

Why the hell would the Habs give the Leafs a 1st round pick in 2013 while we are rebuilding. Patience my friend, no quick fix.

I think Burke would gladly take our draft picks and watch us suck.

offer money that doesn't require 1st round pick compensation.

yeah, they are, but with moen, gill gone, they fill that leadership role, without tking too much ice time.. and are arguably upgrades skill-wise

Burke will match any low offer. Not worth wasting time with a low offer or picks with a ridiculous offer

My first target for a forward would be Doan, he'd be a good fit, maybe he wouldn't mind coming to play with cousin Carey.
