À l’époque, McDonagh n’avait pas fait le saut en AHL et était resté un an de plus (ce qui l’amenait possiblement UFA à la fin de cette saison). Les Rangers étaient déçus de le voir rester au Wisconsin, car plusieurs pensaient qu’il ne deviendrait jamais un Rangers …

Voici certains commentaires lus plus bas concernant le trade Gomez … Ha que la vie change vite:
