Most feared line by goaltenders in the league. Add Lucic or Colton Orr to complete the perfect trifecta of destruction.
- Pecafan Fan

I've never liked Lucic more than when he hit Miller.

Leaf fans were yes. Other teams fans thought it was a joke.
That's my point.

I'm happy with the deal as both teams were dealing from a position of strength.
It is debatable if the Leafs D is a strength but...you get the point.

JVR has the higher upside

He is the perfect type for the 4th line, grinder with tons of energy, the occasional bordeline hit...

You just don't pick a guy like Schenn at #5.

No offensive potential. Not enough upside.

He'll b a Karl Alzner, but Alzner at #5 was too high too.

Those are pretty darn good players, but don't pick those so high

- QuebecPride

they would have picked him 1st if they could have.

Schenn is a slow, #4 defenseman.

I'd rather take my chances with JVR.

- Scabeh

Schenn lost speed because of his training... he's not as slow normally as he was last year.

I'm not a huge fan of the trade... but it's probably good for both teams

He's a crazy innoo, might finally make Weirdoh come out of the closet and admit he's a habs fan.

He is a young D, with top line potential who had a bad year last year.

PK has higher offensive potential and can be solid Defensively, but given the right support Schenn could settle down and be a good shutdown dman.

- HuileHab

His last two years have been weak.
Does he have potential yes. But I don't think he was going to reach that potential with the Leafs.
I hope he plays well in Philly.

I think JVR has equal potential but he fills a need for Toronto.

It was a good deal for both teams.....and a positive for both teams. IMHO.
