If he signs for 2 years, is that Bergevin saying they want to wait 2 years to get Galchenyuk in here?
- kev1586

Unrelated; Jagr would play wing.

I've been around here long enough to know that. I really hope he's not taking my comments too seriously either though!

All good on my side!

Doubted... I pretend full meltdown mode in the Leaf thread from time to time.

It wasn't a choice for that reason, but rather the alliteration of the two words "Grammar Gestapo" together.
- 3M

It's always has been the Grammar Gestapo, QP should go back to re-posting tweets

I didn't watch any of it (shocking, I know). Saw the score, and frankly was a little surprised. Expected a closer game.

But it is related. Pacioretty wants to play with Desharnais, Jagr will want to play with Plekanec. IMO, playing Galchenyuk on line 3 is not want should happen, so if we're not dealing someone at some point, doesn't that mean that Galchenyuk is waiting 2 years?

They are grown men they will play with who the coach tells them to play with.

If Jagr was signed for 2 yrs, I imagine someone would be dealt before yr 2 started. If not, it's a good problem to have.

Good call.

Jagr would fit in with Plekanec. Short term fix anyways.

First off, the highlighted portion is not a complete sentence. Also, there should be a comma before the word "anyways."

That should be:

I'm just starting to wonder what we do at Center in a year from now. With Galchenyuk in the mix, and probably not that far away, one of the center's will eventually need to be moved.

And it should be "centers", unless you are implying their will as an intent, desire, or wish, of which you believe will eventually need to be moved.

I am not an English teacher, but these just happen to be pet peeves of mine.

They were probably all hiding on the Brampton Transit.

I must say however, they did quite the remarkable job on rebuilding the BCC ever since I was a mallrat there in highschool.

Galchenyuk might not make a jump next year out of junior into a position where he dominates.

Guys like Tavares, Hall, took seasoning. Not to mention the teams they play minutes on are last place teams.

Seguin took seasoning and very secondary role. Even still. Having said that Galchenyuk will unlikely amount to be as good as the above mentioned.

I'd like to see habs acquire Ryan...He and Pacioretty played awesome together

No, I leave essay proofreading to the experts, like English teachers. I only focus on forum board postings.

You may be right.

BUT, before the draft, the pbp guy from the Windsor Spitfire was on Fan590 saying that he truly believed that if Galchenyuk had played the entire season, he would be ranked above Yakupov. So while, as was previously mentioned, it's a great problem to have, I'd prefer to think that he will be that good. It would be nice to have a prospect exceed expectation for once, no?
