I don't believe he is a good enough fighter to, he just isn't. Like that kid we drafted in the NCAA that did that horrendous check and got to the AHL and got tuned up 3 out of 4 fights. Conboy? Schultz at the very best could be a Moen.

Every team can use a player like that.

Looks like he'll be a good reliable D-man though. Not that he doesn't seem to be a good fighter, but there's that hole on the backend problem if he does.

I get the feeling there will be some AHL links going up in here this winter.

For sure, it would be nice for RDS to show some games also when the Habs are not playing.

Nothing is nothing right yet, but the direction was better then it was 2 years ago. Even two months ago.

Having a Enforcer Defense sucked for team. When defense fight other opponents, it goes down to 5 defensemen.
- NOAH_U

I wouldn't necessarily entertain bringing in an all out enforcer on D, just an intimidating son of an ugly farmer with a short temper to make sure nobody (frank)s with our young and/or skilled(lol) players

Habs had a skating specialist at the development camp to show the kids what they are doing right and wrong, they made videos of their skating and what they need to work on. Same for the shooting techniques. The kids are leaving with workouts to follow, things to work on, diets to follow. It's nice to see there is finally some emphasis put on all those things.

I'd kinda like that too, Price alone has had way more bumps than he should have had. With him being a D as well, always someone right there to interject.

If Hamilton starts winning it will be be something at least. Last year was an all time low at all levels

Need to start a whole new system man, we did it before, it was bought and paid for, but it worked up until 20 years ago.

Having one on D is perfect when you need one but I agree, he can't be the only one, Habs need one more....White and Moen can do the job but having another one would be perfect. Again...he needs to be able play hockey though. Is Parros an OK player?

Mobility is what I'm wondering about, if he's quick enough to forecheck at his size he's worth it.

Transition year for the Bulldogs last year, very little talent, bunch of guys called up in 2years with not much coming up.

No (frank)ing kidding! I've always said I'd rather have a payer with less skill and a better work ethic. The poop show they had development-wise before was ridiculous.

Skate, forcheck and hit often will suffice for me.

Agreed, it's just unfortunate it coincided with such a disastrous season in Montreal as well

It's insane, it's difficult enough to be an NHL goalie, but for a last place team that lets you get run over time and time again it's damn near impossible. He's worth whatever money we give him.

It would be nice for them to show a lot of games since they have RDS2 and they seem to use it only to show constant repeats of sports 30.

a better d even then. Up front is all career AHLers. No way they score enough. And i predict their starting goalie by december will be the young french guy who will try out for the habs, Marcoux?

Exactly, especially from a winger, from a centre I'd expect better, defensively anyway. I'm hoping we could add a 4th centre to put White on wing, I just don't know who's available and (frank) Konopka.

This is excellent, I really like the hands on approach, prospect development is something I feel we didn't give enough attention to in the past.... Obviously

Leblanc may start the year there too, especially if Gallagher actually makes the team.
