agreed, he should be better this season also, he got used to the smaller rinks and Markov should (let's all pray) be back in better shape.
- Symba007

Man i think Markov playing at 100% all year long could really do wonders for the habs. Was certainly our best player a few years ago before he got hurt. I am not sure he can play like he could before the injuries, but even at 80% he is still in our top pairing and easily. Habs could use a Carkner. Especially with Gill gone and signing again.

we need a big body on D, someone physical that can drop the gloves if needs be. Can't wait for Tinordi to be ready

Me neither, but i do not believe he is. Rushing anyone is a bad idea. Let him play a season in the AHL and let him get used to playing against men, dong mediocre in juniors against 16 year olds is one thing. Training camp will be great times. Pretty excited cant lie, nothing will work out, never does but we will get to see the kids showcase their poop. I would like see that little Gionta clone out west play well in the pre season games.

Carkner gives the habs that, and it also gives the opposition an option. I know he lost bad to Orr, but Orr is now in the AHL.

Tons of young guys going to Hamilton, I am glad the Habs are putting lots of resources in players development, it's about (frank)ing time. Timing is great to have a new philosophy with the team, there is some hope...finally!

A healthy Gionta and Markov healthier will help. Can wait for camp. I have VERY low expectations for tomorrow...don't want them to over pay for trash and I doubt Parise/Suter will even entertain the Habs as an option unless it's to raise their value on the market.

Don't need the top fighter...just one that can be there when needed and one that can play hockey.

Having a Enforcer Defense sucked for team. When defense fight other opponents, it goes down to 5 defensemen.

I'd prefer they stand pat unless they can really get the right guys to play in Montreal, it ain't for everyone.

Odelein says hi, with both hands. Not just his left. Habs always have a spare D on the 4th line anyways.

Having one on D is perfect when you need one but I agree, he can't be the only one, Habs need one more....White and Moen can do the job but having another one would be perfect. Again...he needs to be able play hockey though. Is Parros an OK player?

Been hearing Doan to Habs is pretty much a given.

I like the addition if it's true, just hope it's not too much money.

Jacques Martin and his student (Cunneyworth) always had spare D on 4th Line.

"Shane Doan and Carey Price had multiple phone conversations this week. Doan would LOVE to come play for #Habs. #CONFIRMED #Canadiens"

"According to a source close to Bergevin: "Don't be surprised to see a Doan announcement to #Habs tomorrow around 4PM" #Canadiens"

We'll find out tomorrow. I'm always hesitant about stuff people post on twitter, although that guy is usually pretty reliable. I seem to remember there were mumblings over the last couple weeks that he would come play here as well, or at least consider it.

Would be a nice surprise tomorrow, that's for sure.

I don't believe he is a good enough fighter to, he just isn't. Like that kid we drafted in the NCAA that did that horrendous check and got to the AHL and got tuned up 3 out of 4 fights. Conboy? Schultz at the very best could be a Moen. Thrower...
