In NHL, 52% of Goalies were French Canadiens before Bernier was Drafted. Bernier was the last french Canadiens Goalie drafted in 1st round in 2006. Are you not worried the French Canadiens Goalie went downhill and Goalies from Finland went uphill in the NHL?

It's coming back with Fucale, Desrosiers and Bélanger. Problem with the frenchies is that they're not as big as the finnish and the Swedes. And it's a new trend to have behemoths in goal.

Okay, you can clearly see that Jonathan Bernier is the only goalie who is not over 6 feet tall in 1st round picks in the Last 10 years...

I've seen it for real.

What was said was actually : Gardiner for 1st overall, trading Gardiner guarantees Schultz signs with EDM because he's Schultz best friend so the trade is actually more like Gardiner+Schultz for Yakupov and then flip (something like 5th overall + Franson) to CBB for 2nd overall and draft both Yak and Gally.
