Of all the teams that "won free agency," "won the trade deadline," or "won the draft," how many "won the Stanley Cup"?

- weirdoh

Good Question, Do some research and you will know the answer.

You know all we need in here now? Is that Isles fan that has to sign every post with his name. There's a new Leaf fan that does it too but I'm not sure the name.

Well they won the races for two of the biggest names on two occasions.

And the two were huge contributors to their cup.

You can also thank their drafting success (Toews,Kane, Byfuglien,Bolland,Brouwer, Seabrooke, Keith, Hjallmarsson)

Damn that's one impressive draft. The only single year that would come close to that one would the Habs from this year.

You and Stormey still really jelly over the fact that most hockey media ( and even QP believe it or not) believes the habs won the draft this year.

cool. ok

my position will be that it's actually not my thing.
99% of the sh1t i say on here is absurd or sarcastic or exaggerated for effect (to the point of almost being self-deprecating) and any poster with half a brain quickly realizes that and takes it for what it's worth.

some posters, like you, get upset because they do not understand subtle nuances of humor (hence prefering denis leary over bill hicks *full circle*) and seem to want to take it seriously.

This was my personal favorite. Then he refuses to answer why he hates me then. The schtick in question seems rather familiar does it not?

This is true... but shouldn't people wait until these guys played atleast a game until someone is declared the winner?

Hard not to win with 4 or 5 1st rounders. I can remember the Leafs drafted a guy that was supposed to go in the mid 20's....Stefonovich? Stejonivch? (frank), can't even remember. The Leaf thread was just as QP was. Cumming over him. Can't wait to see him start playing.
