Don't worry habsrock, my brother is the QP of the Jays, he's says good things are coming in the next few years.

Your brother wants Toronto to separate, and he spends his days regurgitating what he has read on twitter?

Yeah, you really have to bide your time while getting them off the table as quickly as possible.

And to top it, he lost to Trudeau!

BLUE JAYS BREAKING NEWS

According to Sportsnet's Shi Davidi, Blue Jays triple-A catcher Travis d'Arnaud tore the PCL ligament in his knee last night sliding into second base Monday night. He'll be out 6-8 weeks, no surgery needed.

Do you think PA Parneteau would fit in?
- habs&islesfan

I think he will get / ask for $4.5 per for at least 5 years.

Not sure we need to have that around right now... save the $$ cap space for when we are ready to pay free agents in a few years.

anything over 3M for a couple years I'd say no to Parenteau. Not the type you build with.

If all the Habs were missing in their lineup was a 2nd winger to round out a super competitive team going for the cup, I'd consider it.

But they are not even close to being there.

I have to agree. Parenteau strikes me as being a bit small and more of his points were assists. We need a goal scorer to play with Plekanec.

Doan for 2-3 years around $4-$4.5 and Jagr at 1 year for about $3M would be great. Then if you want, you let galchenyuk develop for 1 year and bring him up in a more stable environment next season. We more so need tough 5/6 dmen with one having some offensive upside. Dmen shouldn't cost more than $5M combined.

I'd love Doan, great veteran to have around the kids but I have a feeling he will either stay on the west coast or go to a contender

Agreed. This is his big contract....he needs to cash in. Don't want the Habs to be that team.

I would love 1 year of a top 9 of:

Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole
Doan-Plekanec-Jagr
Bourque-Eller-Gionta

Eller worked on his defensive game last summer/season and would love to see him focusing on improving his offensive game to make him a better 2-way player this year. Doing that with captain Gio and bourque to complement would be a good third line and I know everyone would say Gio doesn't belong on the 3rd line but I think it's great for depth to have 3 useful lines for the first time in a long time and in case of injuries.

Hey remember when Eklund said that Sakic was one of the leagues biggest douchebags back when he was in QC because he wore #88 during his rookie season to spite Lindros who wouldn't get drafted for like 3 more seasons?
