Well, JR just was interviewed by NHL Network, and said he'd be picking up a D-man in early July... then on top of that he is looking for another "good" forward if he can pull it off (or words to that effect)!!
We've got some more to look forward to...!!!

I think bringing back Allen for 3 years seems like a smart move.

What's Kyle Wellwood's situation with the Jets? He'd slot in nicely on that third line.

Also, could see the Canes kick the tires on Ray Whitney again, but feel like they might be content with their top 6 forwards right now (though I'd love a 7th option in case Tlusty takes a step back). Tough to pay The Wizard likely $4mil knowing you're left with an awkward third line pairing.

Agree about Allen, and i'd put my money on JR finding a suitable forward for the Canes!! --I wouldn't complain if that was the "WIZARD"...
