He had a very good season, last season he was top-20, no doubt... but like Kessel, he needs to show he can keep up this higher pace. NHL history books are filled with players on poopty teams putting up big point totals.

The canucks and oilers have just as good a chance at him. All canadian teams. Vancouver is near home and his favourite team as a kid plus their is a top 4 spot available. Toronto his buddy plays there. Edmonton is a young core he would fit in to. Closer to home than toronto. Toronto still has way too many defenceman.(Phaneuf,Gunnar,Gardiner,Liles,Franson,Komi,Blacker,Holzer). Doubt that is appealing. Also numerous sources has reported on twitter that Schultz is very likely to go to vancouver and already has his mind made up.

Ya I was on twitter saw a couple different people tweet saying he has it in his head he will most likely sign with vancouver if their is interest which their is. Gillis said he would qualiy Gragnani then schultz hit the market officially and he didn't qualify him. Leaving an open spot on the 1st PP and someone to play top 4 with sami uncertain to come back.

None of them is close to Stamkos, Crosby, Malkin, or Ovechkin, no.
