I don't think Howson is handling this properly either, but to be fair, it's possible that Nash wouldn't accept a trade to SJ and maybe there's truth to the rumor that the Islanders trade was contingent on Yakupov being available. Maybe Howson loved both of those deals.

I think Shero will get him to buy into that... with the caveat that he can keep the team together and get a Suter or Parise as well.

Scott Howson may just be the worst GM in the league. And it takes a lot to edge out Snow.

If I were the owner of the Blue Jackets, Howson would be the only guy I'd ever consider firing to replace with Mike Milbury. Milbury would be an upgrade for them at this point.

Heading to Montana in a couple weeks on a golf trip. Should be fun.

It actually looks more like it was for Murray, since they used all of those picks on defencemen.

Agreed though, it's kind of surprising because up until now, I always figured Snow wasn't that bad. People pile on him for Dipietro but that was Wang's doing.
