Well if Murray turns out as they expect him to, he's going to be quite the player. I think in the long run we will win out just by quantity. I wanted Murray BAD.. but Im happy they turned that deal down... I like what we picked up... Now had that offer been mentioned before the draft I might have said "awesome deal" But now that I see what we picked in all the rounds.. im happy with what we have.
if you have a defense of guys who are between 6 feet and 6'2 with one big guy your fine..problem is we have had 5'8 dmen who are 175 soaking wet - NYI78

i would tweak your comment a little...i dont think everyone is "eager" to trade him but more they would be "willing" to trade him if the return is worth trading him...seems like most people here want a "big" trade, in order for that to happen, you gotta give to get. - LetsGoIsles

What a dumb trade offer by the Isles if that's true. If you ever entertain trading away an entire draft, you can only do it for a generational player i.e. Crosby, Malkin, etc. Not for Ryan Murray. That can't be true. And if it is, I can't believe CBJ turned it down.

thats not confirmed, that essentially a "retweet" on news that is POTENTIALLY, not legit to begin with
good draft guys, who cares about the rumor of trying to trade your whole draft for Murray. If anything it should show Garth will do anything for this team that's in his control. Next up July 1st Who do you guys want?

Whatever might have happened didn't so who cares? We got what we got. I'm not dissatisfied with the trade or our draft even though it was a bit strange. If I'm not debbie downing completely it couldn't have been that bad
