What? At worse ones?
Theres a few
Doesnt make a difference to how i feel about his on the oilers.
A 3rd line center at 5.5 for another 3 years... Its brutal. No two ways about it |

Great, he's overpaid. Its not gonna screw the team at all, they have plenty of space any money to spend.

Jimmy-T thinks Suter and Parise will sign in Edmonton? If so it must be true. |

It's an overpayment for sure but it's not a boat anchor on the club by any means. He's still a good 3rd line center who wins faceoffs. Let's face it, there are contracts out there that are far worse than Horcroffs!! |

Indeed, think there's any legs to the Horcoff for JBo rumors?
Also Clouts this was a good blog *golf clap* Enstrom would be a phenom for this group.
And also again the cervical cancer ad on the site is awesome. If ever saw a girl with a "David Suzuki" I'd lose my sh!t and marry that girl. |

I'd move Horcoff for JBo. I said no when someone first rumored it...then I slapped myself and said yes.
Enstrom..yeah, dreams are nice.

I am dreaming but still hoping that we can make that trade that we didn't on draft day.. this is what i would like to see happen (of course favours the Oilers), but i wouldn't mind a deal that gives us less either but along the same lines.
Edmonton Receives: PK Subban, Ryan Murray, and Ryan Johansen
Columbus Receives: Alex Galchenyuk, Nail Yakupov, Erik Cole, Sam Gagner, Louis Leblanc
Montreal Receives: Rick Nash, Derrick Brassard, Nick Shultz(or ryan whitney), Oscar Klefbom |

So the Oilers give up Gagner, Schultz, Yakupov and Klefbom for Johansen, Murray and Subban?
Tambellini would get shot |

Yea but the trade gets Oilers what they need.. i mean it would have to be something like this for all teams to agree.. and Oilers get 2 top D, thats all they lack rite now along with a big Centre! |

Andrej Meszaros, Philadelphia: The Flyers are another team in the Suter hunt, but to make it work, the team will need to dump a big salary. If healthy, Meszaros would tremendously improve the Oilers blueline. He hits, he can move the puck...all around quality defenseman. If this is a salary dump move, the Flyers would want picks and prospects in return.
No. (frank) off. That is all.

i don't think fixing the D in Edmonton is ONLY about upgrading the D corps. it's about teaching all these young players how to play away from the puck. i think that's something that's lost on players sometimes. some of these guys like RNH, Hall, Eberle, and now Yakupov, they get to the NHL, they're been so dominant all their lives that they've been able to control the game when they're on the ice and they've never had to how to play without the puck exhaustively. i think that's a huge issue and something the Oilers are hopefully keeping in mind in their coaching search. |

I think it will be Horcoff+pick/prospect for JayBo. CGY saves a little over $1M salary cap if it's a pick or prospect that is not ready for the prime time yet. CGY can maybe use that extra cap space for whatever CGY pleases. |

Scouts were saying that Klefbom is better than Murray. That trade make no sense for the Oilers. |
