Not like anyone is trying to marry her, just (frank) her. Being dumb is a benefit in this scenario.

Gagner, Omark, VandeVelde, Peckham, Petry, Plante, Dubnyk have all resigned. What surprises me the most is Omark. They obviously must have talked to him about more ice time and opportunities to play. My guess is they'll make him a 2/3 line guy like they did with Smyth the majority of the season. I'm not too crazy about Peckham but we'll just have to wait till next season to see how he performs

If EDM never made an offer, per say Barker, he is now scheduled to be UFA, and that should happen for EDM and Barker's case which it didn't work out at all. If Omark rejects the offer, EDM still own his rights. Not sure what would happen from there.

He's ours unless someone gives him an offer sheet. I think he's ours until next year when we'd have to re-qualify him.

The other thing is his qualifying offer must be 105% of his contract. He made 875 last year so this year he'd get 918.5K. It would be in his best interest to take the cash. If teams thought he was worth that type of coin they would've traded for him at the draft. He might luck out and go on waivers though, and at this point that is best case scenario for Omark. To be honest the Oilers really threw him a bone here.

Guys making under 660k have to get 110% qualifying offer and guys make over mil 100%.

You might be right, I've been trying to look it up but all it says is "If the player does not sign before December 1st, he is ineligible to play in the NHL for the remainder of the season", which might just mean that he is still an RFA
