read article from anaheim paper. Was pissed that he wants to win a cup there but every piece they want to bring in he was going out. Was asked if he like to play in philly. He said he grew up liking the team and would like to play there. Thats what anyone would say. He is under contract. Offer a package with ADAM sEKERA and whatever roster palyer to make it happen.

It's going to cost much more than Adam and Sekera for a young power forward who has hit the 30 goal mark 4 years in a row. I keep thinking Hodgson or Ennis, Sekera, and a 1st round pick. That's a lot to give up. Would you do it?

No. It doesn't make sense to send out a young center being that our weakness up until Friday was at that very position. The only center that has a possibility of being moved, IMO, is Roy.

I really want to see Hodgson for a full season in Buffalo, and especially since he is working out and training with Gary Roberts this offseason.

Adam is expendable unless we move him to a wing. Hes awfully slow though.

If the Sabres had a young, talented winger on his 1st contract like Ennis would have been before he was moved to center then it would be easier to make that move. Ryan would replace that winger and then the Sabres could trade from their strongest, deepest position (defense) and the 1st round pick. Maybe Arnia, Sekera, 1st round pick and Adam could complete the deal. Arnia would be tough to give up though.

If the Sabres had a young, talented winger on his 1st contract like Ennis would have been before he was moved to center then it would be easier to make that move. Ryan would replace that winger and then the Sabres could trade from their strongest, deepest position (defense) and the 1st round pick. Maybe Arnia, Sekera, 1st round pick and Adam could complete the deal. Arnia would be tough to give up though.
