PA is a great playmaker who can can also score.. Granted he was on great lines on the Isles, but he's a great playmaker who doesn't ever get much credit.

I think he's a perfect 4th lin player. The problem is when people get hurt and they move him up then fans expect more from him than what he is.

I'd just like to send out the daily reminder that no team in the NHL will do a Roy + Sekera + Draft Pick deal for anyone good.

I am sure we could find someone who can play PK, PP, check, and score goals that is much better than Kaleta.. For example - Bobby Ryan

Thats all nice and dandy but Ryan is a 1st line guy... kaleta is a 4th line guy... every team needs guys like Kaleta.

He was possibly our BEST PKer last year.. and that is a HUGE part of this game.

He might have single handedly been responsible for knocking the Bruins so far off their game with his antics that we won that game 6-0 because they were busy trying to chase around Kaleta.

Well when your job is to hit people and as many shots as he tries to block, yes, injuries are likely, its just a product of the style. Tropp had injuries issues too last year.

They will try to be active July 1 but they also tried to make trades at the draft and for whatever reason it didnt happen, except for moving up, which I loved.

Our top 2 RW'ers are Pominville and Stafford, yes? PA would be an ideal candidate for the 3rd line RW and get some PP time. I'd rather have Parenteau at $3M per then Leino at $4.5. And everywhere PA has been he scores. Nuff said.
