I have this sad feeling Roy will play the full season here...

On Roy's side, this is a contract year, he will actually try. I watched part of the Philly series... sorry Umberger hit series, and Roy actually played in all 3 zones. I see him playing hard to market himself this year. I fear Darcy falling for it and in turn leaving both of the young guys down.

I see Darcy giving MK another year to play and get back into the game after his short season and then bringing him up next year. My fear though is that come the trade deadline, Darcy would be able to get a good pick or player for Roy... but since he'd be a top 3 line centre and both G's would be in junior the Sabres wouldn't be able to call them up (I think that's the rule).

Any thoughts?

To Roy's credit.. he actually played ALOT better right around the time of the trade deadline.. so i can see this as being plausible.

I for some reason still realllllly think we are looking to trade for Stasnty if we can't sign Parise. And Ryan isn't too far off either..
