Roy was playing amazing before he got injured two seasons ago. Last year was his actual first bad year and slump.

I don't like Roy but there is no denying that when he is on he can be very good. He is valuable because he is a 2nd line center, Penalty killer, and he can play on the power play.

Biggest turnoffs about Roy are the off ice crap and the lack of motivation at times. If he gets traded and gets motivated he could easily put up 60+ this up coming season.

i said about 2 years... he has value but when people know you are looking to move him it hurts his value. Plus he has reached his potential and Foligno still could get better (i doubt it but he could)..

Yea the fact that teams know we wanna move him does really hurt his value. So unless they get a good deal I think they should keep him till trade deadline. If he has a great season we can either trade him since his value will be much higher or we can keep him if we have a good shot and being contenders.

Hopefully a team wow's darcy with a trade for Roy.

The Dallas Stars are open to trading Steve Ott, according to Pierre LeBrun.
Ott's name also came up in trade rumors in the lead-up to the 2011-12 trade deadline. LeBrun specified that the Stars are still content to keep him if no one meets their asking price. Ott had 39 points and 156 penalty minutes in 74 games last season.
