Get her a people magazine to really cement the deal.

I dunno......

I hope you're right but I can see Burke looking at this as a Cujo signing type moment.
I can see Burke selling this to himself.

- Domidives

We can only hope that Burke wakes up, and see that Luongo is too expensive of a solution.

She gets the whopper after the flowers.

I honestly don't think we have a chance at Parise, I can't see it happening.

I think Minny is going to show up with a break the bank deal ...and battle with L.A., Jersey and Detroit. Kovalchuk type term and $$.

I would love to see Minny get Suter and Parise. Add in their young guys and that team could become a powerhouse in short order.

Yeah Komarov, I think there will be two additions going by Nonis, one depth forward (gritty) and one shutdown defence type.

Agreed but....

Burke at his presser:

"Today the Toronto Maple Leafs solidified the goaltending situation for years to come. We just got one of the top 5, maybe 3 goaltenders in the world. (Insert statistics here) People say he can't win in the playoffs, well he has won in the playoffs. Roberto Luongo immediately gives the Toronto Maple Leafs not only a chance to make the playoffs but a chance to go deep into the playoffs. Any questions?"

I can see this happening and if the trade occurs this is what you'll hear.

I think Lombardi would be a good fit on Phx, or NYI. They both use the rush for scoring and have the speed that would fit his game style. Same way J.Blake made a career for himself on the Isles.
- ILoveLamp

Lombardi is uninsurable...he cant be traded, or likely will not be traded.
