Haha love how you bring the Leafs into a blog that has nothing to do with the Leafs. Hey I get it, talking about the leafs brings hits and I hop on that right away. Good for you.

Cloutier you're a joke, You know absolutely nothing about hockey and have never played a competitive sport in your life. How do you write about something you've never been a part of? Not even in a little way because you would be the only guy to ever been cut from a house league team (remember we've seen you on facebook).

And on another note, when you say the big 4 are untouchable I think you're wrong. Hall is the talent that is going to bring an elite aka norris trophy type player back. He's more expendable than Eberle because he'll be wearing the 'C' in Edmonton for a long long time

Based on the last 45 years I am pretty sure your comments here can be used to describe the whole Leafs organization.

And typing all of this out on the internet makes you feel good I see? Good for you. That must put you much higher up on the pendulum then Cloutier, who according to you is the scum of the earth.

Congrats.

He's not saying I'm the scum of the earth; he's saying I'm a fat, stupid loser. Which is only, at best, half right.

"And on another note, when you say the big 4 are untouchable I think you're wrong"

agreed, somewhere down the line, one or two of them will be moved. I won't pretend I know a lot about the oilers, but I can't see them keeping them all. They will get assets of course, but I don't think they will be able to afford 4 superstars. Just my opinion.

This coming from a kings fan? Richards, Carter, Doughty, Kopitar.... hmmmm

Cloutier thank you for you entertaining blogs + some good insight here and there. But what's even better that you piss off those know it alls who rant and rave at your every blog. That alone makes you worth reading. Blog on.

Richard way too negative. This was draft weekend. Oilers did good. They stuck with the program and they took the right guy.

Now they have the rest of the summer to get the missing link. They need a horse who plays #1D, log 25 minutes a game, can make the breakout pass and be responsible in his own end. I think the best candidate is J.Bo. Tambellini needs to go slow, he has 90 days to add the right horse. He has the assets to do it. It might cost a #1 from next year and another prospect.

My guess is when he does make the move a bunch if your readers will squeal insisting that he has paid way too much. Look at the big deals Holmgren has done with the Flyers. You have to give up an asset to get a valuable asset. I think Tambellini can do it. A bigger question is whether the Oiler fans can handle it when it happens.

Shero on attracting UFAs: "We have a very good team, we're well-coached, we have great ownership, and we have a beautiful arena."

Tambellini: "Well, our team, ummmmm.. But our coach.. uhhhhh.. And the arena, well.."

And this is why the Oilers will never make a good UFA signing. Probably including Schultz.

Fair point, and I wasn't knocking them, so sorry if that's how it came across. I think its fair to say, that your players will be a step above ours, and will payed as such. Drew is the most expensive and takes up the most space. lol. anyways, Carts and richards are very cap friendly if Im correct, long term, but spread out. And, im not sure about kopi, and I wont pretend Im smart with the cap, but, like I said, I think your situation is different.

"That's right, you've known me all my life, Mr. Orr, so you know exactly that I've never picked up a ball, a racket, or a stick. Someday I hope to be as big of a failure as Bob McKenzie, a guy who clearly hasn't been an athlete as long as I've ever seen him on TV."

So your saying when you grow up you want to be like Bob McKenzie?

Okay, fine...you forced a response out of me.

I comment on all big trades. The Schenn deal was good for both teams. I didn't bash them at all, so you should shut up and be happy.

Actually, I'm the guy who tells the jokes.

I'm sorry, Bobby Orr. Compared to you, I guess I do know nothing about hockey and have never played a competative sport.

That's right, you've known me all my life, Mr. Orr, so you know exactly that I've never picked up a ball, a racket, or a stick. Someday I hope to be as big of a failure as Bob McKenzie, a guy who clearly hasn't been an athlete as long as I've ever seen him on TV.

Have you told Steve Tambellini this, Mr. Orr? Because he'd certainly respect your opinion over mine. Considering your years of experience as a pro athlete and agent, of course.

If Hall could be dealt for a player worthy of a Norris trophy, but he's more expendable than Eberle, than I recommend you call Tambellini up this instant and insist we deal Eberle to the Penguins for Malkin.

Seriously, I'm getting sick of this guy.

- Maxbone

I know you're relatively new to hockey but you know what the Norris is awarded for right? I'll give you a hint, it's not to a forward.

Lol trying to compare yourself to Bob eh. You know how hard McKenzie has worked to get himself to where he is now? It certainly wasn't writing pathetic blogs on hockeybuzz.com (aka I really like your blogs.. spices up the day). Bob at least looks like he could of played sports as a young man.. You on the other hand lol.

In no way was I trying to put down Hall as you think I did. What I was really saying is with the Oiler's legit core he is the expendable one that will bring the most in return. Don't need to tell you that you need a goalie a defense to win a championship.

Exactly, these kids are gonna be good but I don't see them being Malkin/Crosby good and won't get paid like it. I think the best comparable is Chicago where they signed Toews, Hossa, Sharp and Kane for about 22m.

Clouts, I disagree about the Leafs top 4.

Yes, were log jammed...We could probably deal half our D (including prospects) and still have a decent top-six.

But alot are still prospects. You don't find it ironic at all that Burke dealt (of all people) Gardiner's defensive partner?

His defensive partner in Wisconsin was J. Schultz...And if he does decide to sign in Toronto (which might be a possibility)...He would most likely play on the same pairing as Jake due to chemistry.

You might disagree, but I do believe the Schenn dealing is more significant than you believe.

I know you're relatively new to life, but you know what reading is right? He said trade Hall for a Norris worthy Dman, not Hall is going to win the Norris, but thanks for coming out.

Shocker, a Leafs fan trolling an Oilers thread who points out how bad the Oilers are as if the Leafs have been any better.

Haha yah you should give it a try and actually read what Cloutier wrote.. When talking about a forward for a Norris trophy type defenceman "I recommend you call Tambellini up this instant and insist we deal Eberle to the Penguins for Malkin."

Can a "ref" on this site ban this guy already? I'm a good sport about how refs completely ignore the amount of bs that occur in my blog comments section, but this is getting out of hand.
