Andy Strickland @andystrickland
Fake tweet had me reach out to #sens GM Bryan Murray who says he hasnt even talked to #CBJ today
How people still get fooled is beyond me, especially someone like Strickland. - JDJ
Ryan @rfan_3
Maybe @andystrickland should ask Eklund for his money back. That hockeybuzz season ticket was a rip obviously.

Not if Gaborik is going the other way - Oilhab
Why would Howson what constantly injured and show-effort-every-3rd-game Gaborik?
He has no use for them and certainly will likely be retired / permanently injured by the time Columbus brings up all their prospects. |

Secretly trading him? What, like he just shows up at some other teams camp in September without explanation? - S Kaspar Rollins

My Leafs insider just told me that Burke looked at moving up in the draft but didn't like the price. This info was just leaked to me. |

My 5th grade teacher always used that joke.
Did you get a hair cut?!
No, actually. I got them ALL cut!
Hilarity ensued.
He was a real barrel of laughs.
However in this case "haircut" was one word so it doesn't really work... - hankthetank
I am your fifth grade teacher, hank.

How long is Burke going to keep up wit the "We believe in James Reimer, he was 4-1 before he got injured" line? |

My source agrees, but further stated that they also looked at some trade down scenarios. And also believes that if the draft starts without a trade, the Leafs are locked in with 5. |

So...I'm wondering wtf Howson is thinking...the longer this plays out, the worse position he is in, and all the GMs know this. LOL...at this rate it in Sept Nash may hold out, and he's even worse off!!! Worst GM in the league... |

Not like he had a ton of leverage to start with. I say it happens shortly after Parise signs. |

I think Howson gets a better deal at the deadline than at the draft.
The only benefit about trading now is teams are better able to play with cap issues. |

He has missed 26 games in the last 3 years with the rangers and put up 210 points.

I hope so. Don't wanna end up like Mr. Clean.
Nothing worse than a hair dresser who smokes. Quit breathing on me. And don't even bother asking me what I do for work. - hankthetank
Most hair dressers smoke. Most are too uneducated to realize the damage they are doing to themselves...or they are just too dumb to care.

He has a major injury right now, and scores in bulk. Not a consistent player.
Regardless, why do the Blue Jackets need his salary and injury history... not goign to win now, so it is a waste. Better off getting picks / young talent. |

I don't think Nash can hold out. He's not an RFA and is under contract. Apart from that, yes Howson is the worst GM in the league and would likely not rise beyond janitor in any serious hockey market (including PHX). |

No way. The situation will have deteriorated massively by then, and you underestimate how much easier it is to move a 8m cap hit in the offseason |

You said there was no way the rangers could fit Nash on their team, well they could if they trade gaborik, it could be in a separate deal if you want. |

At the trade deadline that hit is only 3 ish mil, then teams can use the off season to fix their salary. |

Hey now, Maloney is a good GM, especially considering the limitations he's under. |

Dreger reporting Edmonton going to pick.
Was it ever really up for debate? No matter what Ek or any of these media goons would have us believe, there was never a chance Edmonton was trading the pick, ever.
I'm willing to bet my next paycheque that they're isn't a snowballs chance in hell they don't pick yakupov to.. |
