Dude - the problem is that Howson wants the moon for him.

The real problem is Howson is in the deep water and has screwed the pooch on this from the beginning.

Now...Nash isn't the best option out there so he might have to wait or settle for less.

Ryan in many ways is more attractive than Nash same with Parise....

Plus Nash can still play hardball for awhile with his NTC.

So unless Howson gets lucky early or settles for less he probably has no choice but to wait for the other two to go off the board.

Great trade for Philly. Frees up $1.75 million on a back up goalie that was never going to see the ice and gets them more picks to replenish a weak prospect pipeline. Hopefully more dominos fall now.

I think Rocky will (SHOULD) hold Bowman accountable depending on this season and will fire him if need be. I don't think McConnell (majority owner of CBJ) cares enough what Howson does or doesn't do.
