Nice analysis by Adam French on the Hawks pick. He thought TT was going at #9

18. BlackHawks: Teuvo Teravainen Adam: 9

Holy beefcakes. Nice steal Chicago. I can’t believe he fell so far after a meteoric rise. The young bugger who is almost a year younger than everybody who also had a very strong year against mean at the SM-liiga is a great pick. I know some fans will be pissed that they didn’t get a 6’9 bruiser, but at 18 to get his skill is nuts.

Pencil the kid in for the 2015-16 season. He doesn't turn 18 until September. If he has as much talent as some scouts think, he will jump ahead of a few highly rated Hawk prospects before then.

Hawks could have a star on their hands or he may never play an NHL game. But TT likely was the best hockey player available to Bowman at #18. Lots of time left to draft Clydesdales and big, dumb wannabees in the later rounds.

Pitt has dealt Z. Michalek to Phx in exchange for prospect Harrison Ruopp plus a 3rd-round pick this year (81st) and goalie Marc Cheverie.

Yep..i'm delusional...been following the club for 30 years...have seen us EXIT in the first round for two straight years with teams that Scotty's "kid" has tweaked and yet you want to fellate Stan. Don't stop now.

With DT's team....try again.
- philco28

DT: Good talent evaluator, can't count the beans.

SB: Good bean counter, TBD on talent evaluator. IMO his clock runs out at the end of the next season.

Bottom line is if SB flames out here, DT may get the big cats a cup before the 'Hawks can land #5.

you started the name calling not me
im entiteled to my opinion and if you disagree thats fine but state why without resorting to spelling or gramatical errors for your reasoning

You couldn't even spell grammatical correctly.

Do you think anyone takes you seriously? How can anyone take you seriously when you don't even take the time to at least spell the words you post correctly.

Come on now, my 9 year old nephew can spell and construct sentences much better than this. Dude, you might want to invest in a dictionary.

+1. Tough to turn down potential 1st line talent; Hawks don't have much of that in the system. It'd be interesting to see how this year's goalie (outside of Vasiliev) crop stacks up against the three youngest Hawks prospects (Simpson, Carruth, and Mattson).

Maybe too a keyboard that has an active shift-key and perhaps the use of a period (.) now and then, eh?

Personally I feel like a dumb@$$ when I mis-spell $hit. Like those, "seven years of college .... wasted".
