I've really appreciated your insight on this draft. I'm far from an expert but had some ideas. My assessment is still TBD. Goalie prospect is a must either through the draft or trade. - coldsteelonice

JJ,
What is going on? Are you hearing anything? Did not expect the Hawks to go crazy tonight but did think they would do something. - PaulNewman

Wow, that's a big word for you. Have you been playing Scrabble since we last chatted? And to think you almost made it through a whole post without any spelling errors.

Depends how deep he falls in round 2. I wouldn't mind having Dansk.
I don't know a damn thing about him, but he's Swedish, so he's gotta be good, right? |

Probably has to do with all of the hype StanBo placed on him as being the #2 center last season and failing miserably. |

Even Ek started saying he was hearing Kane for Nash , are the Hawks in on Nash ? Im sure as the draft progresses Howson gets more realistic and if its Kane plus (Stalberg or Hammer) and a pick who can beat that package ? Have the Hawks done nothing else yet because they are in on Nash ? |

The Nash thing is really starting to get annoying. More annoying than the Brad Richards saga last year. And for me personally dare i say, its like the lebron james chatter of couple years ago. Wheres he gonna go? is he staying? which team wants him? blah blah blah. |

I won't be around much either. My kid has a ballgame and I want to watch to see how she's improved being in camp the last 2 weeks. |

No problems here; especially if he keeps improving. Though not a big guy, other than Toews he and Shaw were the only forwards who went to the net with any consistency. He had maybe 9 goals and I think all of them were scored from less than 10 feet out. If he bulks up a little and continues battling in front of the net maybe he gets 15-20. If I had one complaint on his game it would be shoot more.

I would believe the blame goes to Howson. Sounds like he is unrealistic in what he thinks he should get for Nash. |

Thanks....at one time I had the mohawk to go with the "punk" look. The term "punk" fits me.
You're a moron! It's a fitting term for you. Hopefully you find it just as complimentary as the term you threw at me.

Why do I get the sense that alcohol has something to do with all this in fighting going on here? - Beaver-Warrior
No - only people who don't know how to make an argument on its merits and have to resort to being personal, disagreeable, and rude. |
