This has very little to do with Kane. He is a long way from NHL ready. Maybe he is there to replace Kane when Kane's contract is up.

Teuvo Teräväinen, is an Finnish born 18 year old 5'10" 160 pound winger and recently drafted this year in the KHL first round #23 overall by Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, but is best known for his tally at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge where he led his squad in scoring, with 2 goals and 7 points through 5 tournament games. With exceptional hockey sense, vision and hockey know-how, he has very good puck skills, great skating ability with a fast first step, a run of the mill but very accurate shot, and has the ability to find open ice. Playing for Jokerit U16 club team, racking up 16 goals and 35 points through 11 games, he then went on to put up 17 points (7G,10A) in 12 playoff games, en route to a Jr. C SM-sarja league championship, which was his second title in as many years. Teuvo also spent 22 games up with Jokerit U18 team, where he netted 15 goals & 26 points. He also had a nice showing at the Jokerit U20 in the Jr. A SM-liiga February 2011 , where he netted 3 goals along with 14 helpers in 22 games. His ability to step up in big games is a definite plus come NHL draft day, and the way he passes the puck to make his teammates better is a huge asset to any team. He is sure to be picked in this years NHL entry draft in the first round barring any serious injuries or setbacks.
