Sorry....but I am not going to be pissed if the Hawks do no make any moves tonight....JJ and Al even said...it isn't a must that the Hawks have to move someone tonight....as long as they make a few moves before JULY 1st, to try and make a run at a few quality players I am fine....And if they don't, well I'll cross that bridge if it comes to that.....now.....draft Vasilevski Stan...please

he's kind of a gamble, i think the hawks treat him like saad, dont blow your first pick on a somewhat gamble, wait and see if he falls to your second round

So .... if Vasilevski is picked already, who does SB get? OR .... Does he trade down ??

Different day.

If that's the case then by all means rip him to shreds but really?.....can you stop acting like a child throwing a temper tantrum at the toy store because your mommy won't buy you the toy you like. I'm sure he isn't sitting there playing cross words.

I'd aggressively be trying to trade Hammer to someone around 11, 12, or 13. Forsberg and Grigorenko are quality forwards that would be a good fit. They're both Euros though so some people on here might freak out.
My crazy offer to Dallas
18th pick
Hammer
Stalberg
Saad if necessary

If Forsberg is there...get him...but if they feel they can get Vasilevski in the 2nd round, more power to them....I would prefer a G or a C depending on what is available...if there are on quality C's and Vasilevski is gone, go for the best player available

I would think sudoku would be his game not crossword.
I suppose so.
But we're talking about one of the most (if not THE most) inept GM's at the NHL level. - savvyone-1
What makes him inept. He has drafted well the past few years.....he has swung and missed on a few deals....made a couple of good minor deals. But as JJ has said a lot of times him standing pat has been at the directive of higher ups.

Forsberg just went to the Caps ... Vasilevski all down another 30-ish spots? Hmmmmm......

How can you be so sure?
He's never given us evidence to prove otherwise -- maybe that's why the qualifying offers for the RFA's never made it out on time -- too busy trying to find a 10 letter word for "NHL GM with some sack." (maybe all you Stan Bowman backers can figure out the ten letters . . . .)

We waited lat year, after he made a draft-day move to free up tons of cap space: now they have all that space to use on July 1, before the season starts, at the trade deadline - how did all of that work out?
Two years (and maybe I'll be surprised in about an hour) and he has not brought in a top-6 forward or a top-4 defenseman, or a top anything goalie.
OR a proven 3rd or 4th line forward, OR a proven depth defenseman.

Patience has been out here for two years. There has been no patience.

I'm by no means a Stan backer but I refuse to sit here every second and act like a fool because he hasn't made a trade. It's a long off season and free agency is July 1st. I would rather reserve judgement until training camp starts.
