I think what he meant was trade up in the draft, send Hammer and #18 to NYI for their #4 to get Reinhart, then sign Suter, and use the Pulford connection to make a deal for Bernier and you have a new D pairing and a better goalie. All because since McD gave Soriano the moon he will not hesitate to spend a lot this year to make these things happen.

Give him credit for locking up Sharp and Seabrook.

It seems like I'm one of the few Canucks fans that would be fine with trading Schneider, but only if there is a huge discrepancy between the offers for Luo / Schneider.

It's almost guaranteed that Vancouver will trade Luongo somewhere out east, but a part of me hopes he ends up in Chicago. It would bring the rivalry to an entirely new, bizarre level.

My understanding of Linear A is, to decipher it you look at Linear B and work from there.

Picture this:

Luongo in goal for Chicago against Columbus in Chicago. Game 1 of the season. Blackhawks score a goal, Chelsea Dagger blares, fans go nuts. Luongo gets upset thinking he gave up a goal but then JT skates up and says, "Dude! We scored on them, not you. Pfft!"
