And Staal wanted to play with his brother in Carolina. There's no point in giving up what Carolina gave up for him, when it was very likely he would've signed with them next year anyway.

I do not wish to make this personal. I'm not sure why you are. Many people on here have lost people close to them. I was merely stating that although people write about Brian Burke and his personal issues, which allow us, (the fans) the knowledge to speak about it in blogs, when that was for years off limits.

I was not arguing with you nor personally attacking you. I was saying that it is classless to bring peoples families into things. Kids and wives are usually off limits even to criminals, I wish reporters and bloggers would adhere to that.
