how're you guys feeling about the pick? shocked BB went D first. thought he'd take Forsberg.
anyhow now you guys at least have legit reason to crow about your future D. Gardiner/Reilly/Schenn is a sick foundation. - DoubleDown
People complain cause they wanted a #1 centre.. may not have been available with Gally gone (congrats, you lucky bums), so a good D wasn't a bad option. |

Clearly Burke is being snubbed by the NHL GM brotherhood. The only deals open to him are dumps like Luongo. We need a GM who can make moves - stoned
Yeah, we need a real trading GM. We need the kind of guy who could get both the Sedins in one draft. We need the kind of guy who could trade (hypothetically), a guy like, say... Beauchemin for a top-tier prospect and a PPG winger.
We need a guy who could get a top paring defenseman for 3rd and fourth line plugs.
Let's hire somebody like THAT. |

even if Galchenyuk is a bust, i'm happy to see them swing for the fences and not take the guy who "plays well without the puck". |

Leafs should try and grab Forsberg. Trade for a mid-1st pick and grab him |

depends on Schulz. but at this point, (frank) it, keep him. unless the return is above market value. maybe seeing Gardiner/Rielly (Schulz?) will give him a kick in the ass. |

I'm devistated by the Reily pick. Nothing against the kid, but i really wanted to see a forward taken and unless Burke has a trade for Gardner or schenn I consider this draft a fail for the franchise, again |

Wait a few years until one of them has a good year. - weirdoh
It pains me just thinking about the scores of armchair GMs who will flaunt their knee-jerk retrospective genius.
I'd like them to fill out a mock-draft sheet with their ISS sheets taken away.
I doubt anybody here could even name 30 draft eligible players, let alone rank them. |

But why do you want a guy who is falling like a stone?
The professional scouting staffs of 9 organizations have passed on him. Maybe that's an indication that the ISS rankings were flawed... |

Who is actually going to play defense? Those are almost all offensive guys with little defensive ability - xxCHRISTOFIRExx
Gardiner - Schenn
Reilly - Schultz
Blacker - Franson
Holzer
I think that answers the question. |
