Reilly is a great player. The only way this is a good pick for the Leafs though is if we flip a defenceman for a forward... hearing Van Reimsdyke and Latendresse
- steve362

Oh joy. If anything will put a smile on the Leaf fans faces it's bringing in Latendresse

His dad wouldn't even have drafted him knowing what the Leafs need...

Burke: "Here to make our selection.... is Morgan Reiley's father....."

Reiley: "The Leafs are proud to select Mor..... you dont need him, the Leafs take Grigorenko"

so much hate - I'll take your D ffs but I do hear you - the Oilers need way more jam on defense.

Anyway - I maintain it's a good pick, your D will look at lot better with a good goaltender.

- Salvo

Sorry I am taking it out on this kid.. I apologize.. he is not to blame he was just selected.. he didn't look happy either.. but we have an over abundance of potential offensive Dmen..

I'm not too upset over the pick, but i'm just wondering why Toronto wasn't interested in Ribeiro at all? Washington didn't give up too much, and Ribeiro is a solid set-up man, and way better than what we have now. Not that huge of a dissapointment, just was shocked at the deal kinda.

Going into this draft, everybody knew it was wide open because, quite frankly, there isn't a lot of clear-cut talent in this draft. Weak drafts can be all over the place.

It is funny when people flaunt their non-existent scouting knowledge by simply looking at the ISS rankings and saying, "Wow! That was dumb!"

I do not possess enough knowledge on any of these guys to say which picks are mistakes. The Anaheim pick is a little odd, but the only thing I can base that opinion on is the vast difference between the ISS rankings and where he was picked.

People get over-eager at this time of year...relax. You know how much teams will want for those picks? A lot. And I don't think those players are worth paying some ridiculous price just to move up.

I would be looking at Nik Backstrom, only one year left on his contract and he's still capable of being a good starting goalie. Let Reimer back up and play 25-30 games, Scrivens with one more year in the A.

#Firing Burke

yeah man, i've always defended burke. he's (frank)ed up, but i figured he'd right the ship starting with this pick.

skipping over the opportunity to finally add a top flight offensive prospect has me on board with that.

fire the arrogant wiener.
