it is well known that Lou doesnt talk contracts during the season, the season ended 10days ago, and your not going to get down to contract talks the next day or 2 after you lose in the finals, you let the player take a day or 2 to cool the emotions, and lou still had to do other parts of his job such as end of year review, exit interviews and prep for the draft and so on, Lou, Parise and his agent have all said that no contract talks have started but they will informally talk tomorrow and after the draft they will sit down and formally talk about the contract

I understand all of that. I am familiar with LL's history, and I am aware of the questions regarding Zach's injury during the last negotiations.

What I yapped previously still stands.

Lou doesnt have wall-eyed-vision...he can multitask. Lou knows that Zach will test the waters, and NJ will be a big part of that, but to believe that the two sides have not discussed eachother's intentions is ludicrous (speed).

I don't get the feeling the sharks want Nash nearly as bad. Their GM doesn't seem to have a history of pulling off the big deals like Holmgrem and Sather as of late. Those two GM's are like drug addicts and crack. Once they see a star player available whether it be through trade or FA. They just gotta have it

I'd say Draw The Line by Aerosmith is where I'd draw the line. That was definitely the beginning of the drug era for them and they really went downhill from there for quite a few years.

The only thing that gets to me is that he claims to not follow other media people because it gets in the way of his writing.. yet he follows every single media person in every sport possible including players.. a lot of different verified users... including other celebrities... but looking thru his twitter... I can't see one verified user thats following him. He has hundreds of numbers on his cell phone of players, agents and GMs yet none of them want to follow him back on twitter? Weird....

Several players and media people follow me, including all the big name media guys. I follow them too, but I just don't hang out on twitter and I purposely stay away at times like this when we enter silly season.

You dont have to draw any lines.. haters gonna hate.... if YOU are legit... then prove the skeptics wrong. And at least going by your real name helps add to the legitmacy.

I would understand the secrecy if you revealed specific players and teams more often... that would at least explain the hidden identity.

But to us... its an unknown figure... giving "hints" around unknown players... from unknown sources... so I dont even know where to begin.

i dont think what was asked went past the line, by asking a big hockey rumor provider why it took 20ish mins longer to put up a major rumor which was talked about/mentioned prior to the post isnt exactly crossing the line, yes we get that your busy but with todays technology a source could have quickly just texted you some quick details or said call asap and we wouldnt need to ask

In the last 2 to 3 years, no GM's have made bigger deals on a more often basis than Sather or Holmgrem, not even your GM.

Now if you want to start pulling out every big trade he's ever done for hte past 20 years. That is fine. I'm just going by recent activity. When these two GM's want someone, generally, they get them and if two of them are battling each other for the same prize? Gonna be hard for someone else to stick their nose in, even the sharks.

Twitter is the place to be my friend.... its the most convenient way to get up-to-date info for a variety of things.

Its not about being "first" for me... but I'm definitely appreciative of those who relay the info... and the sooner the better.

It all comes down to Zach. the devils love a few of the same top guys...especially Murphy, who I think goes 1 to Edmonton...hearing tonight the Nail may slide to 3. As for the team from earlier..I don't have clearance to say, but if the pick comes up and the player they want is still there...I am allowed to go with it.

Frankly, I don't want Nash. But with DW's history (both past and RECENT) of making huge trades for superstars, I'm concerned he might do it.

Holmgrem's made the Carter, Richards, and Pronger deals.

But what massive trades has Sather made? He's more renowned for his ability to overapy for FA's.
