Hey guys I heard a rumour:
Gagner for Ovechkin, Backstrom, Green, and their first round picks?

Apparently they are interested in the dramatic 8 point game Gagner had and think he can lead them into the playoffs.

It came from a really reliable East Coast source.

I'd be OK with 2013 1st round pick + Paajarvi + Omark for 2012 second overall...

Not sure would CBJ do that trade after I think they got robbed on the Carter trade, now counting on LAK to stay drunk over the Championship for next season to pick high. Can EDM be a contender next year? I like to think so. I would do the deal though. EDM don't need another lottery pick, if anything, next year...completely trade it away or throw a offer sheet at someone.

Johnson was very good for them and one of the better american defenders at the world's. I don't know that they were robbed.
