I think we'll see the rights to Suter possibly being traded and maybe one of Lu/Ryan/Nash but I doubt it. I think we'll see a few trades being made to move up and down in the draft since this draft seems to be all over the place in terms of rankings and such.

I doubt Ryan gets moved. There's no reason to move him.

If both Doan and Whitney go that'll be painful for the Yotes. Not to stir the old ashes too much but imagine if the deal we did for Hodgson had Yandle coming back instead of Kassian.

We'd probably have to add more, but I definitely would have preferred that deal instead. I guess MG wanted to get rid of Cody ASAP.

if I was Nash or Luongo, I'd find hockeybuzz HQ and burn it to the ground. Players must love reading some of these "source" texts that come across the bat phone.

I can see a multi player trade with CBJ . Maybe as much trouble MG is having to move LU, Howson is having with Nash.We need a power forward they need a goalie. Maybe both GMs realize it you swap or stay here.

I don't get it either, he's a great young power forward with a solid contract. But I have to believe it when Bob McKenzie says he could be had and every GM in the league should be calling and trying to come up with an offer.

Agreed. That guy is a beast, young, and has a nice cap hit. Unless he insulted the GM's wife (and even then) how could they even dangle him for offers. Makes no sense whatsoever. I'd take Ryan over any day of the week.

I love Ryan. Dude is a gamer. Besides Sellane, he's the only Duck I respect.

I remember all the talk last year was, you guessed it, Ryan to the Flyers.

He may not like it in Anaheim, but I never took him for a female dog so I doubt it happens.

Exactly, IMO moving Getzlaf makes more sense even though he's a center. The guy looked out of it last season, even after the coaching change. Seemed like he didn't give a (frank) and was skating in quicksand.
