tough to argue with you on that one. - tomburton99
the goalie market was dry when montreal was pretty much forced to trade halak. it was niemi vs boucher/leighton in the final, so teams didnt think they needed to pay for a top goalie. sure they probably could have gotten more, but not much at the time. goalie market went back up the next year when the teams that made the final had legit starters |

Vancouver Sportstalk radio reporting Vancouver has a multi-player deal in place with Columbus involving Luongo and Nash but Nash needs to okay it. Luongo has already agreed to waive his NTC to become a BJ!

lapierre is a bum, please dont tell me you actually respect that guy. anyways, not every piece you're getting from luongo is going to be amazing, there is definitely gonna be a bad salary coming back. - sensnucksnocups
It won't be TO salary dump . I told you the night that you and as i see it were the only two in our room .There is no deal with Van/ TO

So this doesn't matter? I bet you're one of those who only yaps when your team is good and will disappear when they're in the basement - coolehmon41
The living in the past is just very typical of Leafs fans. Why should it be any different for the Argos, right?
As you can see I've been a member here since 2007. My favorite team has never won anything and I'd still rather cheer for them than the Leafs. But it was a hell of a try by you. Respect. |

For sure but 26-30 year old sundin was phenomenal, but his last 3-4 years in TO and year in Van...he was done...but played off of pure heart, all fans have to admire that. - I-own_da-Northwest
You mean like when instead of getting in shape at the allstar break he went on vacation??? Oh ya...all heart! |

yea, im not talking about scott gomez going back. i'm saying someone like colby armstrong, scotty upshall, etc.
and yes, the canucks need someone like armstrong. they are one of the softest teams in the league, and if gillis doesnt do something about that they wont stand a chance in the playoffs. - sensnucksnocups
Holy crap. Do you even watch hockey? The Canucks are one of the softest cup contenders in the league. That's it. The only team to physically push them around was Boston during the cup final and Chicago in the playoffs the year before. That's it.
Learn your hockey boy.

I wouldn't say 3-4, 1 or 2 sure.
I am shocked whenever I hear anyone chirp Mats. |

Who is he normally? Just so I can avoid the whole "You're a Vancouver fan, so you wouldn't know..blah...blah...blah" after he gets back from his ban. |

im not expecting a vancouver fan to believe me, i can easily post links to youtube videos of kesler, lapierre etc diving all over the ice.
there is a reason why all of canada wanted vancouver to lose against the bruins. go on, tell me why? because we're jealous? no, every cheered for edmonton and calgary and even the sens when they made the final. the canucks played with very little class (and to be fair it wasnt all of them), and the WORST part is, they had all the skill and could easily have made it to the final, but they chose to embellish to draw calls. pathetic. - sensnucksnocups
What's it like cheering for a team that never dives? |

you're making this up. Wouldn't it be hilarious if luongo waived to go to Columbus but the deal was stopped because Nash refused to go to Vancouver? |

If it came out that that was in fact what happened, even I as a Nucks fan would laugh. |
